Pre- & Post-Care:
CO2 Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation
Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation uses a CO2 laser probe with a sterile covering to treat the vaginal area. The probe is inserted into the vagina, and then the laser is turned on. As we slowly remove this probe, it resurfaces the inside of the skin. Healing happens over days. Overall, patients tolerate this procedure well, even without anesthesia. The only minor complaint is a warm feeling generated from the laser.
This service REQUIRES a consultation before service can be performed so if you have not discussed with a provider this treatment, you MUST reschedule. They cannot be performed the same day.

While mostly transient and lasting up to 6 months, in rare cases it can be permanent. A line of demarcation between normal skin and laser treated skin can occur.
- Pinpoint bleeding and pattern (grid marks): typically resolves in 30 days.
- Burns: rare yet represent the effect of heat produced within the tissues by laser energy. Additional treatment may be necessary to treat laser burns.
- Scarring: abnormal scars may occur both in the skin and deeper tissues. In rare cases, keloid scars may occur. Additional treatments may be needed to treat scarring. Strict adherence to all advised post-op instructions will reduce the possibility of scarring.
- Infections: this treatment has the potential to cause skin damage so infection is possible. While infection is unlikely, it can be life threatening if it occurs and is left untreated. Signs of infection are redness, fever, pain, pus, and swelling
